Naked Kitchen is a long-established, well-known New Zealand-made brand creating delicious soups and meals for supermarket shoppers.

For a number of years the range used three different brand names – Naked Cuisine as the parent brand, Naked Locals covering the soup offering, and Naked Kitchen for the meal range.

There was even more brand confusion given its original name Naked Organics. And because packs are made of soft plastic, there was also an inconsistency between product photographs.

Consolidation was needed, so the name Naked Kitchen was adopted to cover all products. After so many years and product iterations, product imagery was inconsistent so a top agency was employed to create new packaging standards.

With basic branding guidelines now in place, we were able to roll out this new look.

We used this to inform our redesign of the Naked Kitchen website, using WordPress and the Woocommerce plugin to seamlessly create an easy-to-navigate product database.

The look was also key to creating digital and print trade presenters for Naked Kitchen’s retail partners.

We created a suite of video and still assets which were used instore at major retailers, on YouTube as pre-roll advertisements, and on social media. Digital advertising was created for the Stuff website.

Rounding this off were a number of instore print assets including shelf pop-outs, floor decals, and trade presenters for category managers.

This approach was the perfect way to tie together the previously disperate multi-brand offering and give Naked Kitchen better brand recognition.
